Mark your calendars: SPSA is headed back to New York City for its annual two-day conference in February 2019.
You will get to know press staff from other offices while meeting with media organizations to expand your network, share best practices, and learn about careers in other communications fields.
Past conferences have included visits to ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, TIME, The Daily Show, HBO, MLB, NFL, Snapchat, Twitter, and more.
Stay tuned for full registration instructions which will be distributed to SPSA members in early December. Please note the following:
- Space is available to the first 50 members to sign up and limited to one press staffer per office. In order to accommodate as many offices as possible, preference is given to current Senate communications staff. If multiple members of the same press office apply, it will be up to that office to determine who can attend. Personal, committee, and leadership offices will be treated separately.
- You must be a current member of SPSA and have paid 2019 dues in order to attend. If you have not paid dues or would like to join SPSA, you can join HERE. If you have membership questions, please contact Ashton_Davies@alexander.senate.gov.
